There are three kinds of certificates, AOPA, UTC and ASFC. You should choose according to your actual needs. There are many training institutions involved, but the actual level is not much different. After determining the direction, you can choose any one.
Relatively speaking, the first one with higher recognition is the certification of the UAV Pilots Association, which is authorized by the Civil Aviation Administration of China. It takes about a month, and the training fee is about 10 thousand. In the unified examination, individual students may not be able to get their certificates smoothly, but the fees are not refundable.
The second project led by DJI has been recognized by some DJI manufacturers, Aviation Equipment Association and Civil Aviation Administration of China. It takes about half a month and costs thousands of dollars. Normally, you can get the documents, but in fact you can only fly to DJI.
Third, it is authorized by the General Administration of Sports, but the model is below 7 kg. In fact, it should be called a "model driver's license" for sports competitions.
Requirements for UAV driver's license:
1, with the approval of the bureau, the applicant can obtain the corresponding license or grade. The Bureau shall annotate the approved UAV category, classification grade or other remarks on the applicant's license.
2. Due to the characteristics of the UAV used by the applicant in flight training or practice examination, the specified pilot operation cannot be completed, and therefore the requirements of flight skills in these Provisions cannot be fully met, but all other requirements of the applied license or grade can be met, and the bureau can issue a license or grade with corresponding restrictions.
