Nanjing Institute of Information Technology is located in Xianlin University Town, Qixia District, Nanjing. It is a full-time higher vocational and technical college organized by Jiangsu Provincial People's Government. In 20 15, it was selected as the first batch of modern apprenticeship pilot units in China, and in March 20 16, it was selected as the national backbone higher vocational college.
Nanjing Institute of Information Technology was formerly known as Nanjing Radio Industry School of 1953, and later passed through Nanjing Telecom School, East China Industrial School and Nanjing Industrial School.
1954 radio major of east China second industrial school and 1964 Nanjing 292 technical school merged into this school. On June 28th, 2002, with the approval of Jiangsu Provincial People's Government, Nanjing Institute of Information Technology was established.
The school is a professional skill appraisal base for communication industry in Jiangsu Province, a talent training base for software industry in Jiangsu Province, an education training base for China Certification and Accreditation Association, a training platform for e-commerce application consulting and practical talents for small and medium-sized enterprises in Jiangsu Province, a training base for China Printed Circuit Industry Association, Xinyada it Training Park and Wujiang Technician Training Base.
