What is the modular skills training mode?
1, employable skills module (MES) is a vocational and technical training model developed by the International Labour Organization in the late 1970s and early 1980s on the basis of collecting and studying various advanced training methods in developed countries.

2. At present, it has been adopted by dozens of countries and achieved good results. This model was introduced to China from 1987, and is also widely used in enterprises in China. Some vocational schools regard this mode as an operation mode of school teaching practice.

3. Modular skills training is to determine all the functions that a specific occupation or position should have by establishing a job description table for each specific occupation or position, and then divide these functions into different tasks, and each task is a module (MU). All the work to be done in this major or post is composed of several modules. According to the actual needs of each module, determine all the knowledge and skills needed to complete the work of this module. Every single knowledge and skill is called a learning element (le for short). From this, the training outline and training content expressed by modules and learning units of MES training in this occupation or post are obtained.

4. Modular skills training has broken through the traditional discipline-based training mode, established a new training mode based on professional post requirements, and shortened the distance between training and employment; At the same time, it is helpful to improve learning efficiency by using trainers to choose the most interesting and needed content when they have the strongest learning motivation; Moreover, each module in MES is short and has clear goals, which helps trainers to see the hope of success in a short time and work hard for success enthusiastically, thus helping to maintain their enthusiasm for learning; It can discard outdated content and add new content by adding or deleting modules or units, thus ensuring the overall modernity and advancement of training content.
