On the forum, I saw many friends asking: Can you learn NA and NP well in a few months and pass the exam smoothly? The answer is of course yes, but how to do it is not clear in a few words. Generally speaking, you must first have the following three points: confidence, perseverance and intention.
First of all, we must have confidence, and firm confidence is the source of success! If you have no confidence before studying, then I advise you to give up early, because you have failed before you start; If your confidence is not firm, then you should give up, because failure is only a matter of time. If someone thinks he is not confident, there are many reasons: he hasn't touched a book for many years; No professional foundation; English is not good either ... then I want to say to him: please don't make too many excuses! Because that's how I got here. For three years, I seldom picked up books. Usually playing online games, smoking and drinking, being late for class and cheating in exams. Just look at the results in the past three years and you will understand: 13 make-up exam, 3 retakes! Speaking of professional foundation, when I went there for the first class, I wrote the "router" that the teacher said as "Land Rover". I didn't know what a mask was! When it comes to English, I am even worse. I didn't learn well in middle school, and I didn't learn well in college. Even the seven words from Monday to Sunday are often unknown. So don't make too many excuses for yourself, set goals for yourself, face the reality calmly and give yourself more confidence. You can reach the other side you want to reach.
Followed by perseverance, tenacious perseverance is the guarantee of success! Many people have lofty ideals, clear goals and meticulous planning indicators, but when they go to implement them, they fish for three days and dry their nets for two days, and finally give up! Because it is not easy to persist in the process of struggle, and I personally know it. After studying Cisco for a while, I feel uncomfortable holding a book. If you often sleep with your head covered after noon; Often addicted to online games day and night; Often drunk on the street in the middle of the night; You will understand my feelings: learning is a painful torture for me! When I really can't hold on any longer and want to give up, I said to myself: Hold on for another day, maybe I will get used to it after today. I said it myself so many times, and finally I persisted! Learning is a long process, and it is natural to suffer some setbacks. After encountering setbacks, try harder and don't give up. Maybe hard work doesn't mean success, but giving up stops here!
Third, be careful and think carefully is the magic weapon of success! I remember a classic line from Stephen Chow's film The Gourmet: "There are no gourmets in the world, or everyone is a gourmet. As long as you put your heart into it, everyone can become a gourmet! " Besides laughing, you have to admit that this is a wise saying. Yes, there is no genius in the world, or everyone is a genius, as long as you do it with your heart! What you remember with your brain will soon be forgotten, and what you think with your heart will belong to you for a long time. As long as you study hard, there is no knowledge you can't learn; As long as you work hard, you can't do bad things; As long as you put your heart into being a man, you will certainly become a successful person!
If you have the above three points, then you are already on the road to success, and good learning methods are the shortcut to success.
There is no absolutely correct definition of a good learning method. It's a good learning method for others, but not necessarily for you. Learning methods vary from person to person. Others think that a good learning method can only be used as a reference, and the learning method you find is the really good method. To find a good learning method, first of all, you have to study and study hard!
In the process of learning NA and NP, I always divide it into three stages. The simple description is: proceed from the overall situation, divide and rule, and achieve mastery through a comprehensive study.
The first stage, starting from the overall situation. After reading this book in a short time, you can get a general idea of its main contents. Let's take CCNA Electronic Industry Edition as an example. In the first stage, you should have an understanding that the first chapter of the book is about the reference model of OSI, and you need to master the functions and characteristics of each layer; The second chapter is about IP addressing and address types, and pay attention to distinguish the different characteristics and functions of some TCP protocols and UDP protocols; The third chapter is mainly about the division of student network; The fourth chapter is ... the most important knowledge of this book is chapter 5678, and to learn this knowledge well, you must master subnet division and subnet mask skillfully, that is to say, you must master the content of chapter 3 thoroughly. In fact, the purpose of this stage is to make a reasonable plan for the next stage of study. Starting from the overall situation, to learn to be "informal", we only need to know the overall content and don't have to pay attention to the details. Can't scratch eyebrows and beards. In a short time, the more you learn, the less you really belong to.
The second stage, divide and rule. Is to divide the whole book into several parts, one by one. First, divide the knowledge points in the book into several big blocks, then divide the big blocks into several small blocks, and then master the knowledge one by one. I divided CCNA's book into four pieces. The first block is about conceptual things, which need to be remembered, such as OSI model, some internet protocols, the characteristics and management of Cisco equipment (understanding); The second block is the method of subnet division and planning (mastery); The third block is routing and switching (focus); The fourth largest (change of ownership). Regarding switching and routing, there are switching blocks and routing blocks, which can be divided into static routes and default routes, IGRP and EIGRP, OSPF and other small blocks. The knowledge points that OSPF needs to master are: the conceptual characteristics of DR and BDR, SPF algorithm, election, configuration and inspection. In the second stage, we must study according to the plan of the first stage, pay attention to the arrangement of time, focus more time on key knowledge, make a general understanding of unimportant things and ignore some unnecessary contents.
The third stage is mastery through a comprehensive study. I think I won't say much about the importance of this stage. As we all know, no knowledge point of a book is completely isolated, and the ultimate goal of learning a book is to master its content! If you want to do a good job at this stage, it is most important to make a summary and notes, such as recording all the functions of all show commands together.
I don't want to say more about the exam. Everyone knows that the question bank is the key. If you don't look at the question bank, I think there should be very few people who can be admitted. You should also take notes when reading the question bank. Neat is not required. Simple, just understand it yourself. In fact, the exam is the simplest thing, and the exam is much simpler than the knowledge to be learned in books. As long as you master 70% of the knowledge in the book and then look at the question bank, you can take the exam, as long as the new questions do not exceed 30%. Speaking of being afraid of exams, it means that 1000 yuan is doing strange things. Everyone was nervous during the exam. After all, 1000 yuan is not a small sum. I took the exam five times in the past three months, and I was very nervous every time. Before the exam, I always say to myself: If I succeed, I will be more confident. If I fail, I will only be stronger!
I started to contact Cisco in early August, passed NA in early September, and passed NP in early 10. NA took part in the training and NP taught herself completely. In the past three months, I spent a lot of energy on Cisco, especially after September. Spend no less than 10 hours learning NP every day on average. I know that taking the NP exam is just the beginning for network technology, and I have to continue to work hard in the future! In fact, I don't intend to develop the technology of network technology in the future, but I will never regret my efforts in these three months. NA and NP have changed me a lot. I have learned a lot these months. I not only learned network knowledge, but also learned confidence, perseverance and intention. I also learned what affection and friendship are, and I also learned the courage to face life again. ......
