In this crucial link, teachers who preach, teach and dispel doubts are very important. In addition to having standardized and excellent painting basic skills and perfecting correct painting basic theories, we should also have more contact with the knowledge of various disciplines and strengthen our self-cultivation.

To this end, the author invited two art teachers, Wu Shihua and He Yulong, who have been engaged in art education in middle schools for a long time and have many years of teaching experience, to write two books, namely, A Course of Ding Sketch Portrait for High School Art Specialty Students and A Course of Gouache Still Life for High School Art Specialty Students. This book summarizes the teaching characteristics of sketching portraits and gouache still lifes, shows personalized teaching methods and training means, and has many incisive and effective new viewpoints.
