Comprehensive interview double first! The central bank went ashore to learn the experience of preparing for the exam!

Examination: 202 1 China People's Bank Examination.

Written test: the written test is second.

Interview: interview first, comprehensive first.

At present, the economic and financial post of the Central Branch of the People's Bank of China (second in written test, first in interview and first in comprehensive) has recently joined the People's Bank of China.

First of all, a preliminary understanding

(1) online application stage

Different from the civil service examination, PBOC is much stricter in the selection of resumes. The online application rate of my position is only about 50%. PBOC has no restrictions on fresh graduates, so I may prefer people with rich internship or work experience. But for fresh graduates, a better school background and award-winning experience are also extra points, but as far as I am concerned, this year seems different. Don't worry too much about online application. A regional network can't get through.

(2) the amount of questions

The written examination of economic and financial posts of China People's Bank includes two parts: line test and specialized course. Test 1 hour to do 70 questions, the overall speed of doing questions is even higher than the national and provincial exams. The examination content includes 10 common sense, 20 words understanding, 10 quantitative relation, 20 judgment reasoning, and 10 data analysis, in which both words and judgment reasoning are long, which tests the reading speed. Specialized courses 1.5 hours, 20 courses for evaluation, 30 courses for single choice, multiple courses 10, and short answer 1 door. Although the two parts seem to be separate, they are rolled up after the exam, and then the questions of professional courses are distributed. The time for sending and receiving test papers in the middle is included in 2.5 hours, but don't worry too much. This time won't be too long. Generally, there will be a lot of time left after you finish writing the questions in the professional courses.

(3) Institutional considerations

Knowing that PBOC and China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission have similarities in written test and interview contents, they both have high requirements for economic and financial related professional knowledge, so they plan to prepare together. However, most of the existing institutions in the market report classes separately and rarely merge. (in order to avoid the suspicion of advertising, I won't say what institution I applied for here ~) In short, I thought for a long time before I felt it. Of course, there are also some internal and external factors, so I won't talk about the specific reasons here.

Second, the written test preparation

(1) line test

I signed up for an agreement class in July, and then I attended the summer camp in August, all the way to attend classes in Anhui. The course arrangement is very tight, and it is much more efficient to learn knowledge points and consolidate questions every day than to prepare for exams at home alone. In the last month before the exam, I began to practice papers and explore the best order for me to do the questions. Finally, I set the order of "common sense-data-speech-judgment-quantity".

1 common sense: brush this part of the question and everyone will be happy. I suggest you don't have to put down more time. After all, common sense is incomprehensible.

② Data analysis: The data analysis of the People's Bank of China is not too difficult, and the questions are relatively fixed. Generally, it is to find the base period difference and compare the year-on-year/quarter-on-quarter growth rate (volume) and mixed growth rate. Therefore, in order to master the formula of the corresponding problem, and to calculate quickly, we must master the skills of quick calculation and estimation. You can search quite a few kinds on the Internet.

3 language understanding: brush more questions and cultivate a sense of language is king!

④ Judgment and reasoning: The drawing part is a routine, and the basic rule is to count "points, lines and angles". At the same time, there will be several combinations of laws. My habit is to record all the rules that I have never seen or are not familiar with when I do the problems, and review them twice before the exam. In this case, most of the questions in the examination room are actually familiar to everyone. As for logical judgment, I have studied GMAT before, and the routines are similar. As long as you find the key words and the central meaning, it is easier to do the problem.

⑤ Quantity: In fact, candidates can't finish the number 10, so they should exercise their ability to look at the questions at a glance. First, pick out the easy questions that they are good at, and give up directly when they look at the problems that have no ideas, such as solution mixing, itinerary and engineering. It is relatively easy, with a certain probability, and the most valuable questions will be more difficult. You can give up selectively, but it depends on your own choice.

2) Specialized courses

The topic of the specialized course of the People's Bank of China is a little smaller than that of China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission, but it is a little more difficult. Therefore, it is not enough to just listen to specialized courses. I listened to them after work in the summer vacation, and then I listened to online classes on National Day, laying the foundation first and then deepening macro-control. Therefore, it is true that there are no special suggestions for professional courses. Listen carefully, brush more questions and review more, and the score will really go up.

The last two short answer questions and essay questions, "The Last Mile" issued by the organization I reported one week before the exam is a treasure. Although there is a lot of content, I also give you modules. Each module can go up as long as it sorts out its favorite templates, no matter what problems it encounters, as long as the general direction is consistent.

In the examination room, I paid attention. Only a few lines can be written in the big topic of the audience. Only I am full, so in fact, mastering short answer questions and essay questions can beat many people. Don't feel afraid to recite a lot of things and give up big problems.

Third, the interview preparation

The interview lasts 8 minutes. As soon as I entered the examination room, there was a huge timer to remind me. The problem book is on the table, and there is a blank piece of paper to make a draft. There are three questions in total, and the two questions are structured into a professional course. You can choose to answer three questions or one question at a time. I chose the latter, after all, I may not remember the questions at one breath. The examiner has our resume, which was filled in when applying online, so everyone tries to write their own awards and internship experiences. One of the examiners was the vice president of the city branch I took an examination of. Later, I met him when I joined the company, but I was so nervous during the interview that I couldn't remember what he looked like.

(1) Structured

Generally, the real questions you see are memories of the examination room, so they look short, but in fact, during the real interview, I was shocked by the length of the interview questions. Each question is almost four lines, and it takes a lot of time just to read the question, but in fact, the first half is basically describing the background, and the focus is still on the last sentence or two. Therefore, grasping the key words and following the general idea of "what is the problem (influence)+why (reason)+how to do it (countermeasure)", we can still answer it completely. Personally, I prefer to set up a subtitle to organize, such as "three haves" template, "faith in the heart, skills in the hands, responsibility on the shoulders", "setting standards, establishing systems, and paying attention to supervision". I'm just giving you an example here. You can summarize your own templates and make the sentences look better.

(2) Specialized courses

Interviews in previous years were all three questions. The last question this year was changed to a professional question. Although the organization had warned that there might be professional problems before, I accepted this fact after the interview questions in other regions were updated one or two days before the exam. In fact, everyone was caught off guard, but fortunately, when preparing for the written test, I recited a big question. In addition, the organization arranged a set of questions urgently before the exam and had a live conversation. My heart was relatively stable during the interview.

My painting is about economic recovery and the issuance of national debt. PBOC is different from China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission, which emphasizes macro-control and micro-supervision. Therefore, the interview questions of PBOC are more about macro-policies, such as the practice and influence of monetary policy and fiscal policy, and the CBRC will ask in detail about an event, such as the risks caused by the "crude oil treasure incident" and the countermeasures, so everyone should focus on it when preparing.

My interview training lasted for a week. I talked about the questions and routines of the first three days, and then began to practice and simulate on the spot. From the beginning, there was no logic at all. At the end, I could easily see the topic without making a draft. The offline work really stripped me of a layer of skin, but it did lay the groundwork for various interviews after me (I went to the interview of the Agricultural Development Bank by the way when I was training at the People's Bank of China, and the Agricultural Development Bank was a group+semi-structured one-sided, and passed without any special preparation).

Of course, interview templates can only help us not to have nothing to say during the interview. Wide enough, not deep enough. The most important thing is to accumulate in peacetime. Look at the specific practices of the central bank in handling similar incidents and the innovative measures of local governments at the grassroots level. Only in this way can we be deus ex in many institutional routines.

Entry experience: I have had some work experience because I was taken to the internship by the People's Bank of China in advance. The work of municipal branches is more like uploading and distributing, summarizing the data of county branches and reporting them to provincial banks. For some compilation work, the timeliness is stronger. It is necessary to keep up with the policy updates of the external network, sort out some policies worth learning and report them. Generally speaking, I don't work overtime unless the work requirements are particularly urgent. Weekends and holidays are guaranteed according to state regulations. Overall, the cost performance of branch offices in cities is still relatively high.

Another digression: I always think that teachers should love their profession in order to understand the exam thoroughly and teach students well. There are many textbooks for institutional teachers I enrolled in, but they can connect scattered knowledge points in series and simplify the complex, which really reflects her professionalism and love for education. Moreover, the teacher also gave everyone a red envelope and oranges (meaning successful login), encouraging everyone to add her WeChat questions directly, regardless of details.
