"Honor of the Police" revolves around Li Dawei (played by Ruoyun Zhang), Xia Jie (played by Bailuyuan), Yang Shu (played by soso) and Zhao Jiwei (played by Cao Lu), and tells the story of their rapid growth and becoming a qualified people's policeman after being baptized by various cases in Balihe police station, where policemen are highly vigilant.
This is the second time that director Ding Hei has directed a police-themed work after Jade Guanyin (18), and screenwriter Zhao Dongling is a master of life drama.
"Police Honor" strung together the main story in the form of multiple cases interspersed, and the upgraded structure of fighting monsters runs through the growth of four new policemen. With the unlocking of the "task", the new police officers have turned from pure heroism to pragmatism, truly facing the interweaving of good and evil in life, and distinguishing and handling it like real police.
If it is only the growth history of newcomers, it may underestimate the breakthrough of police honor theme. The older generation of grassroots policemen portrayed in the play are not representatives of perfect policemen, and they also have various shortcomings in their lives. For example, Chen Xincheng, who seems to be "fishing", was accidentally injured for no reason many years ago; Cao Jianjun, who is known as the "light of the police", is aggressive and anxious; Hao Cheng, the deputy director, felt guilty about the sacrifice of the old director, which led to his overprotection of Xia Jie.
As Wang Shouyi, the director of the police station in the play, said, in the mentoring relationship, the apprentice should learn from the master, and the master should also learn from the apprentice how to keep pace with the times. This unique mentoring design adds a strong human touch to the dramatic increase, and also makes this drama essentially different from the traditional series of police and bandits.
