Jiaozhou Yangko is a traditional folk art performance form in China, Shandong, Qingdao and jiaozhou city, and it is also a national intangible cultural heritage of China. Jiaozhou yangko is one of the three major yangko in Shandong Province, also known as "Diyangko", "Dayangko", "Shaking Yangko" and "Sanwan", which is popular in Dongxiaotun Village, jiaozhou city City, Shandong Province.
Yangge originated in Jiajing period of Ming Dynasty and has a history of more than 500 years. Jiaozhou Yangko is usually performed at important festivals such as Spring Festival, Lantern Festival, Tomb-Sweeping Day and Dragon Boat Festival, as well as weddings and celebrations.
