Composer Matuo entered Tibet in 1960, and became interested in an ancient wine song in Shannan, which soloists often learned from an old artist named Tashi, so Matuo adapted the song, adding two preludes before the original folk song and modifying the lyrics.
The melody of this song is melodious, adding elements of pop music to the rich national characteristics, while the lyrics fully show the scene of people in Xizang creating a happy new life.
