The Fine Arts Department was founded in 1984, and was formerly known as the Fine Arts Department of the Education College and the Normal College of the Corps. Since the establishment of the Department of Fine Arts for more than 20 years, it has gone through the course of hard struggle and unremitting progress, and its career has been developing continuously. The Department of Fine Arts now has two undergraduate majors, namely, Fine Arts and Art Design (non-normal), and enrolls students for the whole country. At present, there are four grades of four-year undergraduate fine arts majors, two grades of art design majors, and three grades of art education undergraduate classes, with more than 420 students from 17 provinces and autonomous regions. The Department of Fine Arts not only has advanced teaching facilities, a good exhibition center for teaching, scientific research and artistic creation, but also has a United and enterprising teaching and scientific research team.
