Avoid direct sunlight.
The shell of the piano is basically made of wood, and the wood will be deformed when exposed to direct sunlight for a long time. Moreover, where the sun shines directly, it is often the junction of indoor and outdoor, where there is more dust, and the piano is also vulnerable to dust.
Avoid damp places.
Many people don't pay attention to this, especially those who live in high-rise buildings. They feel that their floors are high and don't have to consider the humidity. In fact, every household has some walls that are relatively easy to get wet, including the external walls of the whole building, the partition walls of bathrooms and kitchens, etc. If the piano is close to such a wall, moisture may invade the piano body and damage its sound quality and volume. If you can't put it next to this wall, please keep the piano at least 10 cm away from this wall.
Avoid uneven places.
If it is placed in a rugged place, it is easy to cause skew or even tilt when playing. Of course, most families will not encounter this situation, but pay attention. Try not to put the foot of the piano on the joint of the floor tile when placing, so as to ensure that the piano can keep horizontal position at any time when placing and using.
Avoid placing it on the right or away from doors and windows.
Upright piano sounds from the back, and grand piano sounds from the lower side. If these sounds are right at the door or window, the piano sounds will easily flow out, making it easy for neighbors to hear the piano sounds, and you may receive complaints from neighbors. If you have to put it in these places, please do a good job of sound insulation to avoid unpleasant things, which will affect neighborhood relations and your interest in playing the piano.
