My name is Yang, and I am 46 years old. I am currently the director of the Yinhe Youth Palace in Haiyang. 1997 I was laid off because the enterprise went bankrupt. After I was laid off, I once opened a small shop and worked as an insurer. In 2000, I founded the Yinhe Youth Palace according to the development trend of social education. In the past eight years, thanks to my efforts, Yinhe Youth Palace has been growing, with a school area of 80 square meters to 860 square meters, full-time and part-time teachers from 2 to 2 1 person, and courses from 1 to 2 1, which are divided into three categories. A large number of outstanding talents in music, dance, painting and calligraphy have been trained. The Children's Palace was awarded the first prize of "Organizing the National Calligraphy and Painting Competition for Primary and Secondary School Students" by the Art Department of the Ministry of Education for seven consecutive years, and was awarded the "Advanced Unit for Running Schools by Social Forces" by the Education Bureau of Haiyang City for many consecutive years. In 2008, it was awarded "Advanced Unit of Youth Assistance Action" by Haiyang City. In June 2007, I was also enthusiastic about public welfare undertakings. The development and honor of Youth Palace can not be separated from the support and concern of leaders at all levels and all walks of life. Below, I will report my love story and experience in the process of starting a business to all leading comrades.
The first project I report is:
Love, for my students.
If someone asks, what do you need most in the real world? Is it money or power? Or honor, reputation? Different people give different answers, but if I were to answer, I would say that what I need most is love. When I was laid off, I wouldn't open a small shop without the care of government departments such as taxation, industry and commerce for laid-off workers; Because I know that without the love of the Education Bureau, the Youth League Committee, the Civil Affairs Bureau and other organizations for youth education, I would not have established the Galaxy Youth Palace. Now, with the love support of the party and the government, the cause is developing smoothly, so I say that love is also the first need of society. In 2004, I learned that Haiyang Municipal Committee was carrying out "Youth Aid" activities, and actively contacted the Youth League Committee to take the initiative to bear the living expenses and tuition and fees of Wang Qiang, a poor student in Niu Ling Village, Zhuwu Town. Wang Qiang's father died many years ago, and his mother was bedridden all the year round, leaving a lot of debts at home, which made Wang Qiang, who was admitted to Shanghai Yang Vocational College with excellent results, face dropping out of school. When I learned about this situation in the Youth League Committee, I volunteered to help Wang Qiang tide over the difficulties and return to school. So I came to my classmate's home in Wang Qiang with 1000 yuan in cash and school and daily necessities, and visited him and his mother. His mother said with tears in her eyes: Thank you, there are still many good people in this world! I also actively contacted the leaders of the Youth League Committee of Wang Qiang School, and finally made Wang Qiang return to school. In the past three years, I have been supporting Wang Qiang to finish high school smoothly, and in the past three years, I have bought cotton-padded clothes, trousers and other daily necessities for Wang Qiang, so that Wang Qiang can study with peace of mind and work hard. In the college entrance examination in June this year, he was finally admitted to Shandong University with an excellent score of 680.9. After receiving the letter of admission, Wang Qiang called me the first time and said, "Aunt Yang, without you, I don't know where to work now. Now I am admitted to the university. I will study hard and repay the society, you and caring people like you in the future. "
In May 2007, I took the initiative to contact the Youth League Committee to bear the living expenses and study fees of Gao Fujian's classmates in Fengcheng Primary School. Gao Fujian's father lost his ability to work because of a car accident, and his mother suffered from diabetes, making it difficult to take care of herself. On May 12, the responsible comrades of the Communist Youth League Committee visited Gao Fujian and his parents in Fengcheng and sent them solatium 1000 yuan and daily necessities. Gao Fujian's mother, Wang Ruiying, held my hand tightly and was excited for a long time. She said:
In the summer of 2005, Yinhe Youth Palace held an English training course on microcomputer and public affairs. Knowing that Yang Zuli's father was seriously ill, Ma Liping's father lost his mother and his father could not work. When Wang Ji and other students had family difficulties, I thought that these nine students needed summer training very much and were in financial difficulties, so I took the initiative to contact them and said that the door of the Youth Palace would always be open for you. All the nine trainees who participated in the training course were exempted from training fees. After the study, they pooled their money to buy me a plaque with the words "angel of love" written on it, and took a group photo with me as a souvenir, saying that they should study hard in the future and repay my concern for them with excellent results.
In the summer of 2006, in order to help poor students develop their knowledge and expertise, I decided to hold the first love summer camp on the basis of the gradual development of the Children's Palace. * * * Provide 4 1 poor students with free culture and special study, and reduce tuition fees 10662 yuan. In 2007 and 2008, two love summer camps were held in succession, and the tuition fee for 163 poor students was reduced by 48,200 yuan.
In the past six years, I have reduced tuition fees by 54,000 yuan for 23 1 poor students who came to the Children's Palace to study. I used my love to warm their hearts for knowledge and success, and let them feel the warmth of the youth palace, society, the party and the government. A reporter from Haiyang TV station interviewed me after learning my story and asked me; The development of Youth Palace is not easy either. The learning venue is rented, and the teachers hired also need to pay. Don't you think it's a loss to do so? I said: it is a small matter for me to suffer some economic losses. It is a big deal for children to delay their studies and expertise because of poverty. It is worthwhile for my children to grow up healthily and become the pillars of the motherland in the future. As long as children experience the warmth and power of love, they will repay the society in the future and let more people get love and hope. I am willing to bear such a loss, and I am willing to bear such a loss forever!
