Sichuan Acupuncture School, affiliated hospital of Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, founded in 1960, is the only provincial full-time Chinese medicine secondary specialized school. The school has two campuses, Gaoxin Campus and Longquan Campus, with a total area of more than 300 mu and a total construction area of about 78,000 square meters.
The school has a high-level teaching and research team, and has taken the lead in completing the formulation of Practice Standards for Rehabilitation Technology Specialty in Vocational Colleges by the Ministry of Education, Professional Standards for Rehabilitation and Health Care of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Secondary Vocational Schools by state administration of traditional chinese medicine, Professional Standards for Rehabilitation and Health Care of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Secondary Vocational Schools in Sichuan Province and Professional Standards for Rehabilitation and Health Care of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Secondary Vocational Schools in Sichuan Province promulgated by Sichuan Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
There are 2 1 national planning textbooks edited by the school's chief editor and deputy chief editor, and 48 textbooks of various levels have been compiled. Rehabilitation and health care major of traditional Chinese medicine is a national demonstration major of secondary vocational education. Four teachers in the school won the first place as instructors in the "Acupuncture and Massage" skill competition of the national vocational education of traditional Chinese medicine; Three professional teachers became students of traditional Chinese medicine in Sichuan province; Thirty-four teachers have the qualifications of labor occupation appraisal examiners, including two senior teachers.
