Map printing is the operation of copying a large number of finished maps through printing. Important links in map compilation is an integral part of cartography, and the theory and technology of map reproduction are discussed. Lithographic printing is mainly used in China, and its operation processes include original copy, copying, coating, printing, proofing, proofreading, modification, printing, inspection and packaging. At present, new technologies such as electronic color separation, xerography, microform and pressureless printing have appeared in the printing process, which makes it possible to simplify the printing process and realize the standardization and automation of the printing process.
