The philosophy of running a school is "to run a school by politics, to run a school by quality, to run a school by law, to run a school by talents and to run a school by diligence". Seeking truth from facts, promoting quality education in an all-round way, taking the market as the guide, and cultivating high-quality practical skills talents for the society to meet the market requirements.

While doing a good job in the education and teaching management of secondary school students, the school should strengthen cooperation with institutions of higher learning, and do a good job in continuing education and training of professional and technical personnel in the health system, training of rural doctors, and short-term training of beauty and makeup. The school was named as the designated training unit for the transfer of rural surplus labor in Qijiang County.

The school's general secondary school offers five majors: Chinese medicine beauty, medical imaging technology, nursing, pharmacy and rehabilitation. Specialities such as clinical medicine, nursing and medical imaging are offered in junior colleges and undergraduate courses. Students come from all over the country.
