Yang Lan, China TV presenter and entrepreneur, was born in Shanghai and graduated from Beijing Foreign Studies University with a bachelor's degree in English and American language and literature. 1990- 1994 was the host of CCTV's Zheng Da Variety, and 1994 won the "Golden Microphone Award" as the first host in China; After that, he went to the United States for further study, studied at the School of International and Public Affairs of Columbia University, and obtained a master's degree in international affairs. 1999, Sunshine Media Group was co-founded by Mr. Wu Zhi and Ms. Yang Lan.
In 2000, Yang Lan and her husband Wu Zhi founded Sunshine TV, the first historical and humanistic TV channel in Greater China.
In 2005, Yang Lan founded a large-scale talk show "Women in the World", which was mainly aimed at urban women in China and developed into an interactive cross-media women's community based on television, internet, education and training. Yang Lan is the co-founder and chairman of Sunshine Media Group and Sunshine Culture Foundation.
