Without training, candidates can't sign up for the PMP exam themselves. The PMP exam requires candidates to have experience in project management training. Candidates must complete more than 35 hours of professional training before signing up for the exam, and obtain the corresponding training certificate before signing up for the PMP exam.

Registration conditions for PMP exam:

1. Applicants must have at least 35 hours of training experience in project management, covering ten knowledge fields in the project management knowledge system.

Two, the applicant must have one of the following two situations:

Category I: Applicants with bachelor degree or above:

Applicants must have at least 4,500 hours of project management experience in the six years before the application date, including five project management process groups (startup process, planning process, implementation process, control process and closure process), and have participated in project management for at least 36 months.

Category II: Applicants without a bachelor's degree or below:

Applicants must have at least 7,500 hours of project management experience in 8 years before the date of application, including 5 project management process groups (startup process, planning process, implementation process, control process and closure process), and have participated in project management for at least 60 months.

Note: When the project management months are accumulated, the overlapping months of various projects cannot be calculated repeatedly.

The above-mentioned 35-hour training certificate can only be obtained by participating in the training of PMI authorized institutions. Therefore, when selecting training institutions, candidates can check whether the selected institutions are authorized on the project management professional qualification certification website of China Foundation for International Talent Exchange.
