Tips for TV Maintenance: Disclosing the Discharge Steps!
Before TV maintenance, the first thing to do is to discharge. There may be a lot of charge stored in the TV, and if it is not handled properly, there will be the risk of electric shock. So, how to discharge correctly?

Disconnect the power plug

Before TV maintenance, you should disconnect the power plug of the TV to ensure that the TV is completely disconnected from the power supply to avoid the risk of electric shock.

Open the TV case

Use an insulated screwdriver to open the TV housing for subsequent maintenance.

Find the capacitor

On the back of the TV, find the key capacitor and prepare to discharge.

Short-circuit capacitor lead

Using an insulated screwdriver, short the two wires of the TV capacitor to discharge the charge in the capacitor.

Wait for the charge to be released.

Wait patiently for a few minutes to ensure that the charge in the capacitor is completely discharged to avoid the danger of electric shock.

Confirm that the capacitor is completely discharged.

After the capacitor is confirmed to be discharged, the subsequent maintenance work can be continued to avoid the danger of electric shock.
