Teachers and students:

Good afternoon everyone! I am honored to have this opportunity to stand here and communicate with you. First of all, I want to thank the leaders and all the teachers for their hard work, so that we can have such a good internship opportunity. At the same time, I want to thank the teachers, brothers and sisters of the internship unit for their concern and help during my internship.

My name is Luo Yuan, and I am a student in Class 303 1 Plant Protection. I was sent to an ecological research group of Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences as an intern, and I went with Liu Yajun from our class. The instructor of this group is a recreation researcher, but I worked as an intern with Mr. Kang's doctoral teacher last year. Mr. Liu is mainly engaged in the classification of ORTHOPTERA Tettigonidae insects. The main work of my internship is to establish a database of Scottish specimens by using special software, that is, to sort out and classify the existing Scottish specimens of animals, and then input the basic information of each specimen into the "animal information exchange" software. As soon as the specimen is permanently preserved, I need some knowledge of insect taxonomy and computer operation skills to do this work. Because I studied very hard in the general entomology class before, I have a certain understanding of taxonomy knowledge, and I have learned taxonomy knowledge again at work, so the work goes smoothly. But I have encountered some difficulties in computer operation, which can't effectively improve my work efficiency. However, after a period of exploration and study, I mastered the use of the software and the work was successfully completed. Through this internship, I have many feelings: first, we must master solid professional knowledge, and don't wait until the book is used; Second, as contemporary college students, we should not only learn professional knowledge well, but also strengthen the learning of operating skills of tools needed in daily work, such as computers.

During my internship, I was lucky enough to visit Duolun Experimental Base in Inner Mongolia with Mr. Lekang. I benefited a lot from this visit. The first time I saw beautiful grasslands, white yurts, blue sky without any impurities, white clouds, endless grasslands and wild flowers. These also make people's thinking suddenly enlightened. During the visit, I was always accompanied by the leaders of the local government and the staff of the Agricultural Bureau, and heard them talk about many problems about grassland ecology. Grassland soil erosion and other issues let me know the grassland from another level. During the visit, I was able to get along with the entertainment teacher for a long time. Through communication with him, I was deeply impressed by his erudition. He has a wide range of knowledge We saw many plants we didn't know along the way. Ask him, and he can tell us clearly, and let me learn a lot of things that I can't learn in textbooks. I thought an expert like him wouldn't spend time with me.

During my internship, I established deep friendship with teachers, brothers and sisters, got a lot of help from them and learned a lot from them. First, their scientific research spirit. Our group is a very United group, and everyone gets along well, especially at every group meeting, brothers and sisters report the internship and ask questions. Teacher Kang and others will enthusiastically give advice or provide information. I don't see any signs of selfishness in them. Their spirit of solidarity and mutual assistance deeply touched me. Secondly, their way of doing things and attitude. What impressed me most was that a senior brother needed an experimental equipment called a low-pressure oxygen chamber when doing experiments, but this equipment was not produced by any domestic manufacturer. If it is too late to book the time from abroad, the senior brothers will draw the design drawings according to their own needs and then contact the manufacturer for production. I have never seen them go back before 10 on weekdays or weekends. Their professionalism and practical ability are worth learning.

The biggest gain of this internship is not only in my work, but also in finding my goal in life, giving me a new position and strengthening my determination to take the postgraduate entrance examination.

Happy interns have survived, and what will meet me next will be hard preparation for the postgraduate entrance examination. But I believe that I can do better through these months of exercise!

From March 25th to September this year 14, I participated in the internship in the Innovation Group of Rice Biological Germplasm, the State Key Laboratory of China Rice Research Institute.

China Rice Research Institute is a state-level research institute, with 76 employees1person (including 486 long-term employees), including 47 senior and intermediate scientific and technological personnel1person, 3 doctoral supervisors1person, 42 doctors and 28 masters, and also employs famous scientists at home and abroad as part-time researchers. Rice Institute owns120,000 USD of scientific research equipment, with a building area of 35,000 square meters and an area of more than 7,400 mu, and has established a south propagation base in Hainan.

First of all, introduce my internship. I mainly do transgenic work in tissue culture room, introduce the required genes into callus through Agrobacterium mediation, and finally grow seedlings through a series of screening. The transgenic work in our laboratory is relatively advanced. Some laboratories can only make conventional varieties: Japanese sunny, 93 1 1 or Chinese, while our laboratory can make many mutants.

The topic of my thesis is the study of gene polymerization with pueraria lobata. AGP was introduced into the giant embryo with high iron content, and new rice varieties with giant embryo with high iron content were selected by molecular marker-assisted selection, so that the required rice plants could be selected earlier. In addition, I combine hygromycin screening. Because we used hygromycin in the transgenic process, we can judge the gene transfer by the resistance of leaves to hygromycin, which makes the experiment more rigorous.

In addition, I am deeply impressed that the teachers here are very rich, but they are very economical. If it is necessary for the experiment, they will not frown and approve the money immediately, but they will save it. For example, when we study in the study room, it doesn't matter whether we turn on the light or the electric fan, but when the last person leaves, we must turn off the lights and the electric fan. It doesn't matter if the boss meets anyone.

I feel out of school, broaden my horizons and learn a lot of knowledge. In the rice institute, I saw many advanced instruments, which can be operated by myself, and I was very moved. In the Rice Institute, there were 8 of us, and everyone worked hard, which won unanimous praise from the teachers and didn't disgrace our Yangtze University!

Finally, I am very grateful to the leaders of the college and Mr. Fang for giving us this internship opportunity, which made us learn a lot. I also hope that our agricultural college can continue this internship and make us famous at Yangtze University!

Summary of professional practice

Although several months' internship time is over, for the students of Grade 03 in our Agricultural College, what remains is the heavy memory contained in the sweat under the scorching sun, the proof of maturity, and the 100% sense of accomplishment and fulfillment. Here, on behalf of three students, Zhang, Chloe Wang, who are internship with me in the Institute of Plant Protection and Soil Fertilizer of Hubei Academy of Agricultural Sciences, I would like to briefly talk about the main work contents and gains during our internship.

During my internship, under the leadership of my teacher, I participated in a number of major scientific research projects, including "National Grain Enrichment Science and Technology Project", "Research on farmland pollution prevention technology" and "Research on application technology of potassium magnesium sulfate fertilizer". "National Science and Technology Project for Developing Grain" and "Research on Farmland Pollution Prevention Technology" belong to national projects. Among them, the grain-increasing project mainly carries out more than a dozen field experiments, such as rice high-yield fertilization research, soil fertilization and rice high-yield, rice high-yield and high-quality research, and rice cadmium content research. In the process of these field experiments, we can say that we have made a lot of efforts. Because the experimental field of this topic was selected in Haokou Town, Qianjiang City, we went to the experimental field with our teacher at the end of May. First, we collected basic soil samples from the field, measured the field and divided the plots. Because there are many experiments and time is tight. We get up at half past six every morning and walk about two kilometers from where we live to the experimental field. During the days when the plots were divided, we basically soaked in mud every day, and the clothes were covered with mud before noon every day. After drawing the picture, we immediately called the base fertilizer to do the experiment. Because the amount and variety of fertilizer in each treatment room are different, it is also a very complicated matter After the base fertilizer is weighed and applied, the seedlings are transplanted in mid-season rice and sampled during transplanting. After rice is loaded, the growth of rice is investigated every other week, and the data of each investigation will be recorded. During the previous investigation, the rice seedlings were relatively good because they were not high. After the rice was sealed in the later period, the investigation was quite difficult and arduous. At every stage of the whole growth process of rice, we should collect seedling samples and topdressing according to the experimental design. In addition, we have also made great efforts on the project "Study on the Prevention and Control of Farmland Pollution", which mainly includes two aspects: the first is the influence of underground runoff on the loss of nitrogen and phosphorus, and the place of this experiment is in Wuhan. It was not until April this year that we participated in the design and construction of this experimental runoff pool. Secondly, the influence of farmland surface runoff on nitrogen and phosphorus loss was studied. This experiment was also carried out in Qianjiang, and the rice planted in the field was tested, so water samples were taken from monitoring points outside the field water and field every day. If it rains, we will also take samples from the runoff pool corresponding to each community. Whether it is hot or raining heavily, we have to walk every day to take samples back to the refrigerator for preservation, and then take them back to the office for analysis.

In the research of various subjects, we gave full play to our professional knowledge, were deeply taught by our teachers, and actively completed a lot of indoor analysis and field experiments, which well demonstrated the students' unique professional skills and good conduct, and won unanimous praise from the teachers of the internship unit, and were awarded the title of "excellent intern" by the unit.

The whole internship, through the combination of theory and practice and the communication between the school and the society, further improved our ideological consciousness and professional level, especially our practical working ability of observing, analyzing and solving problems, laid a solid foundation for finding our own position in society and embodying our own values in the future, and also completed the transition and transformation of our own ideas and vision from school to society. It is embodied in the following four aspects:

1 enriches our professional theoretical knowledge. During the internship, I will fully apply the systematic theoretical knowledge learned in class to the actual scientific research work, and have more, broader and deeper understanding of scientific research work from a theoretical height. For example, in indoor analysis, we should make good use of the theories we have mastered to guide our practical operation, and consolidate and deepen our theoretical knowledge after long-term practical operation. So practice is the application, consolidation and deepening of theoretical knowledge for us.

2. Improve our practical ability. Through personal practice, we can understand the actual scientific research situation, be familiar with the basic links of scientific research, truly understand the basic quality requirements of scientific researchers, and improve our adaptability, organizational ability, coordination ability and working ability to analyze and solve practical problems. For example, although we studied the experimental design method, we found that we did not grasp the specific details and requirements when applying it to specific experiments. Later, the teacher of the internship unit gave us detailed guidance in combination with the specific practice, which enabled us to fully grasp the specific details and requirements of the experimental design method and application, and to skillfully apply it to the specific practice.

3. Tested our academic achievements in school. In other words, what is the gap between our knowledge and our actual work, and what is the gap between our own situation and the actual needs of society? Through comprehensive analysis, let's supplement relevant knowledge in time in the future study period, and make full knowledge and ability preparations for job hunting and formal work, thus shortening the psychological transition period from campus to society. At school, we studied many cultural theory courses and mastered a certain degree of theoretical knowledge. However, in the specific work practice, we find that our theoretical knowledge is insufficient. For example, when we practice, ASI method and M3 method are used in the analysis of soil agronomy, which is very strange to us, because we have never come into contact with them before. Therefore, in the future study, we should constantly supplement relevant knowledge according to our actual situation.

4. Exercised our hard-working spirit. During the internship, we worked overtime with a serious and responsible attitude and actively completed a lot of indoor analysis work, including more than 600 soil samples, more than 800 water samples and tens of thousands of projects. In the wild, I insisted on not being afraid of hardship and fatigue, sweating like a pig, and adhered to the working spirit of the first line in the field, and successfully completed the implementation and management of more than a dozen field experiments including field fertilization. * * * Collected more than 5,000 field investigation data and 1000 plant samples, and sweated like rain and tanned skin fully reflected the earnest and responsible work style and noble spirit of hard struggle of our agricultural college people.

Here, we sincerely thank the leaders and teachers of the college for providing us with this significant and far-reaching self-exercise opportunity. At the same time, I also wish all students to continue to work hard and have a perfect college life in the remaining college time.
