What are the rights and functions of SASAC?
The State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC), the full name of which is the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, may be considered by many as one of the constituent departments of the State Council, but in fact, SASAC is an ad hoc organization directly under the State Council, authorized by the State Council, to perform the investor's duties on behalf of the state and supervise the preservation and appreciation of the state-owned assets of the supervised enterprises. First, the main responsibilities of SASAC

(1) Under the authorization of the State Council, perform the investor's duties in accordance with the Company Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) and other laws and administrative regulations, supervise the state-owned assets of enterprises affiliated to the central government (excluding financial enterprises), and strengthen the management of state-owned assets.
