Shadow training was conducted for 3,000 principals of primary and secondary schools in western 12 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government (hereinafter referred to as provinces) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps. Among them, 600 rural principals are organized to carry out shadow training in the training practice base of principals in western provinces every year, with a total of1.800,000 people for three years. The training practice base for principals in eight eastern provinces organizes 400 backbone principals to participate in shadow training outside the province every year for three years 1200 people.
The training content focuses on school management practice, and the principals participating in the training are sent to practice base schools inside and outside the province as "shadow principals" to learn the management experience of advanced schools. Each training period is divided into three stages: centralized training, base training and summary exchange, and the training time is 13 days. Among them, the provincial training organizer organized a centralized training for 2 days, summarizing the exchange 1 day; Shadow Training Practice Base School organizes principals to carry out base training 10 working days. National and provincial project expert groups will provide operational guidance for shadow training.
(2) Distance training
Remote training for rural primary and secondary school principals was carried out in 23 provinces in the central and western regions and 200 counties (cities) of Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps. In principle, classes are organized in counties, and each class trains 50 principals. 200 project counties train 1 10,000 people every year and 30,000 people in three years.
The training content takes "the reform and development trend of basic education in the new period" as a special topic, and carries out distance training in the form of distance learning, online live broadcast and SMS interaction. China Education Cadre Training Network of National Education Administration College is responsible for distance training platform construction, curriculum resource development, technical support and daily teaching management. (1) This project is planned, organized and led by the Ministry of Education and China Mobile Communications Co., Ltd. ... China Mobile Communications Co., Ltd. is responsible for providing financial support for the project, China Education Development Foundation is responsible for the project fund management according to relevant regulations, and the Personnel Department of the Ministry of Education is responsible for the organization and management of the training project.

Publications and media such as Principals of Primary and Secondary Schools of National Education Administration College, Trends of Basic Education Reform, and China Education Cadre Training Network provide a platform for the principal training practice base school and its principals and students to display the school image, exchange training experience and discuss academic research. China Education News, People's Education, China Education Television and other media will publicize and report the implementation of the project.
