This "steamed bun shop owner" is Tong Qihua, and his steamed bun shop is called "Ganqi Food". This speech was given in October of 20 14 165438 10. At that time, he had 100 stores in Hangzhou, with annual sales of 300 million yuan.
There are many touching "points" in the speech, such as how he treats his employees well-renting an apartment, the walking distance from the store should not exceed 10 minutes, all beds are reinforced, and no sound is made when turning over, ensuring the sleep quality of employees, four dishes and one soup for each meal, and the main course is not repeated for a week; For example, because the quality of the bean paste supplied by the manufacturer is not good, they decided to make their own bean paste, choose a good taste from twenty or thirty kinds of beans, and finally choose a Wenling bean. Because of the limited output, they can only sell bean paste buns for half a year; For example, roasted vegetables are selected from more than 20 kinds of vegetables to make a green bag. In order to keep "green", a set of ice water deactivation system was specially developed. Moreover, the sandwich meat of pig's forelegs is used to make their meat stuffing, which is much more expensive than ordinary meat. Moreover, the weight of sweet buns is only two grams, and so on. From these details, we can see that a steamed stuffed bun seller can sell for hundreds of millions.
But these are not the focus of my talk today. What I want to say is the following.
After reading this speech, I watched "Ganqi Food" in Baidu, and learned such a message: In March 2009, Ganqi Food Company was established, and in June 2009, six stores were opened. 20 10 10 ganqi food technology staff training center was formally established. By February of 20 10, there were 26 stores, that is to say, 20 stores were opened in one year. By June of 20 14, the number of stores was 140.
After reading the evolution of this data, I am thinking about a question: What role does Ganqi Food Technician Training Center play in this process?
Tong Qihua said in his speech that when he first started making steamed buns, he saw some workers moving their noses and curling their hair from time to time. He was really confused at that time, so he quickly went outside to blow the wind for a while to calm down. He realized that workers must have good hygienic working habits and master a set of scientific and strict operating procedures, which required training for new employees.
In terms of employee management, Tong Qihua believes that 1 000 employees are scattered in all corners of the city, and there are seven or eight people in a group. If management alone is definitely not enough, it is better to do everything possible to make these employees live in this city with value and dignity. To implement these people-oriented concepts, it is necessary to train the managers of each store.
In the development of Gan Qishi, Tong Qihua concluded that the essence of business is actually to convey goodwill to all people and all interested parties, and all transactions with them are mutually beneficial. To truly implement this business spirit, it is necessary to train every employee who is willing to eat.
This is the role of training.
What is training? Simply put, it is to teach others-not to say, but to do. This process, which sounds simple, is actually very difficult. It needs to teach others to be easy to understand, to "take care of" and to repeatedly emphasize that these are the essential characteristics of training.
Speaking of repetition, I am reminded of a joke told by Fan Deng in Replicable Leadership. When arranging things, leaders in China like to say to their subordinates: Don't make me say it again. As a result, subordinates did not understand and dared not ask more questions, so they began to fool. Why do China leaders like to say it again? This is caused by the idea of "official standard" formed in the long feudal society: I am a man of my word, how much do you want me to spend? Leaders have this problem, and subordinates are not polite: if you like bureaucracy, I will try my best to engage in formalism.
In sharp contrast, the Japanese arranged their work five times: first, they arranged their work; second, their subordinates repeated it; third, they asked about the purpose of doing it; fourth, they asked if there would be any accidents, what needs to be reported, and what they could decide for themselves; fifth, they asked whether they were allowed to do it, and whether they had better ideas and suggestions. After five times, subordinates can basically do it.
I also come to the conclusion from this joke that training is not all about sitting in the classroom, talking by one person and listening by a group of people. Any process of teaching others to do things can be called "training".
Fan Deng said that the so-called subordinate's "executive power" is a false proposition, and all the "executive power" comes from the leader's "leadership" (except those subordinates with intellectual defects). The ability of training plays a very important role in leadership. Subordinates can't do it, either the leader is out of stock and doesn't know how to teach, or the leader has bureaucratic problems and doesn't want to say important things twice. Therefore, all leaders (including parents) should learn more training skills.
So much for training.
Finally, as an educator, I can't finish this article without talking about the revitalization of education.
Say a set of numbers and sentences.
In 20 19, the education system of Hongtong County cooperated with the National Education Administration College, Beijing Normal University and Shanxi Academy of Educational Sciences to train principals and teachers14,238 person-times, which is basically equivalent to three trainings for each teacher in the county.
What is the significance of such training for revitalizing education? I quote a passage written by Chairman Mao at the low tide of the 1930 revolution: "A single spark can start a prairie fire" to answer:
"But I said the climax of the China revolution is coming, it is by no means what some people call' the possibility of coming' as completely meaningless and elusive empty things. It is a ship that can already see the top of the mast when standing on the coast overlooking the sea. It was a bright morning, and the sun stood on the top of the mountain, looking at the east. It is a mature baby, restless in its mother's womb. "
