In order to ensure the smooth progress of the standardization of language and writing, the school has formulated the Implementation Plan of Language and Writing in Shanghai Songjiang Second Experimental Primary School, which defines the goals and requirements of language and writing in the school. Therefore, the school will pay special attention to the cultivation and training of teachers' Putonghua literacy and the ability to standardize the use of Chinese characters in this school year. In addition to holding special meetings to standardize teachers' language and organize teachers' learning, in order to strengthen teachers' awareness of speaking Mandarin and writing standardized words, the school will also hire teachers with better Putonghua level in the school to train teachers with poor Putonghua level, and encourage teachers to actively participate in Putonghua training and testing. The school requires teachers to set an example by speaking standard Putonghua and using standardized words in their work, study and life. The guidance office also organizes "watching" classes for relevant leaders to check teachers' speaking standard Putonghua and using standardized Chinese characters, and requires the head teacher to record teachers' speaking standard Putonghua and writing standardized Chinese characters as the basis for teachers' semester assessment. Now the teachers in our school can consciously use Putonghua and standard words for teaching and daily communication.

Every Tuesday at noon, students listen to excellent articles and accumulate words. Each class holds an exhibition of excellent works of "Pen Calligraphy" in each class every semester, which makes the standardization of language and characters implemented in different levels and stages, strengthens the combination with convention, and subtly allows students to speak Mandarin and write standardized characters, which has achieved remarkable results.
