Zhengzhou Traffic Technician College, founded in 1979, is now in charge of Zhengzhou Labor and Social Security Bureau. It is a comprehensive professional vocational and technical college that serves the highway transportation industry, automobile manufacturing and service industry, traffic information industry, fashion design industry, preschool education and chef cooking. In July, 2007, it moved from the original address of No.541North Section of Nanyang Road, Zhengzhou City to the current address of No.33 Sanjie, Zhengzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone.

Since its establishment, the college has always taken "skills+education" as its school-running philosophy, "integration of theory and practice" as its teaching mode, and ensured the teaching quality and students' employment development by modern teaching methods. The employment rate reached 96% for six consecutive years.

Zhengzhou Traffic Technician College is a national key technical college and a demonstration technical college in Henan Province. It is the leading unit of Henan Automobile Operation and Maintenance Technician Education Group, the teaching and research leader of automobile maintenance specialty in Henan Province, and the president unit of China Fashion Designers Association and China Cuisine Association.

With advanced teaching facilities and perfect teaching functions, the College is the largest training base for automobile and traffic technicians in Henan Province. The college has more than 200 multimedia theory classrooms.

There are nearly 30,000 square meters of experimental training sites such as automobile professional training building, comprehensive training building, sheet metal welding training workshop and automobile driving training ground, and 50 off-campus training bases have been built with enterprises, with complete cultural and sports facilities such as library, gymnasium, track and field and basketball court.

The college attaches great importance to students' employment, has established school-enterprise cooperation with more than 80 enterprises, and has established school-run projects in cooperation with Zhengzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone.

Large enterprises and companies such as Yutong, SAIC, Haima, China Railway Seventh Bureau and Zhengzhou Metro Company will be opened as student employment units. In the past three years, the average employment rate of the college has exceeded 98%, and the satisfaction evaluation of parents and enterprises has reached more than 90% for five consecutive years.
