If new protective waxing fluid is needed, the wax, sludge and dirt left on the car should be washed off with dewaxing car wash fluid. Sprinkle some water on the front hood to see if the water can cover the paint thinly. If there is a water hole (where the paint is exposed), it proves that there is either oil or wax on the car. Waxing is ineffective in this case. Wash it again with a more effective car wash (dewaxing) solution, and scrub it with a water pipe while washing. After cleaning with dewaxed car wash liquid, the water on the car body does not exist in the form of water droplets, but is thinly covered on the car paint (especially in horizontal places such as the rear hatch cover). This is because after wax removal, positive and negative electrodes are generated between paint and water molecules, which attract each other, so water is not easy to flow away.
It is best to choose professional multifunctional cleaning agent for dewaxing car wash liquid. At present, the most popular multifunctional cleaner is "Orange Fragrance", which is a multifunctional cleaner based on orange peel extract. From the point of view of environmental protection, it has made great progress compared with petrochemical products, and still maintains the cleaning effect. Orange-scented cleaning agent can remove oil, dewax, scale and dust (it can also be used in interior decoration, engine and home), which is really multifunctional.
2. Daily car washing is also called "no dewaxing car washing"-that is, the car itself has wax and doesn't want to wash it off. Washing a car is only because it is dirty, not because it needs waxing or scratching. In this case, non-dewaxed car wash liquid should be used. In daily car washing, running water (running water) can be used instead of standing water (bucket). If you can only use stagnant water, you must change the water frequently! Especially when cleaning liquid (foam), clean water must be used. Why can't I use detergent in my daily car wash? Detergent is a typical dewaxing car wash liquid (generally alkaline, with PH value of10.3-10.9). The acid and alkali resistance of car paint is below PH 8.0. If you wash your car with a cleaner with PH above 8.0, the paint will lose its luster for a long time, resulting in serious corrosion such as fading, cracking and rusting. I don't know the "mystery", how many drivers were immediately removed by the car wash after spending hundreds of dollars on waxing!
3. Wax the new car (wash the car)
In order to protect the car paint from pollution damage such as climate, automobile manufacturers will spray a layer of wax on the car body when transporting the new car to the place of sale, especially when it needs to be shipped by sea, which is called new car transportation wax. This layer of wax is different from our common car wax polish, so it will be taken off at the destination.
New car transport wax is generally divided into oil transport wax and resin transport wax. There are also some cars, especially those that are not directly transported by manufacturers. There may be both kinds of wax, which we call "mixed fat transport wax"
There are two points to pay attention to when waxing a new car: first, spray waxing water on the car body and wait 1-3 minutes to "soften" for a while, and use warm (hot) water properly when scrubbing the car body; Second, be sure to clean the car after waxing (you can use high-strength dewaxing liquid) to ensure that no wax liquid or wax residue is left.
Nowadays, many automobile maintenance service shops use kerosene or solvent to "wax". Solvents can be divided into two categories: petrochemical and natural. Most petrochemical solvents are based on kerosene, and then various additives or surfactants are added. Kerosene is also a solvent, and it is a very strong solvent, strong enough to "melt" the paint, and it will hurt the paint if you are not careful! Therefore, it is particularly important to choose the right materials when waxing new cars.
4. Repair the car wash
Bird droppings, gum, asphalt, smoke oil, tar, aviation oil. . . . . . Once these things are left in the car, if they are not cleaned for a long time, they will harden and corrode the car paint. Many phenomena, such as oxidation and orange peel, are the "masterpieces" of these pollutants. If asphalt splashes on the car at high temperature, there is almost no treatment. Once the hot asphalt touches the car body, the paint can "burn" quickly. Although it can be removed with asphalt remover, car paint will also leave permanent scars.
It is not difficult to remove tar pitch, and the professional treatment method is the same as treating deep scratches. At present, there are all kinds of tar pitch scavengers on the market, and many solvent-based tar pitch scavengers in China are often cheap and quick to take effect. But at the same time, it will also cause unnecessary damage to the paint, dewaxing is certain, and it will also cause paint oxidation, car paint fading, blackening and so on. Therefore, when repairing the paint surface, we should also pay attention to the choice of materials to avoid "beauty" becoming "disfigurement".
