Mainly responsible for the area of salt policy, salt monopoly and law enforcement. Some places are also called Salt Bureau and Salt Administration Bureau, which are unique forms of salt management under the salt monopoly system in China.

I. Main responsibilities

(a) responsible for the implementation of the laws and regulations of the salt industry, and supervise and inspect their implementation.

(two) responsible for accepting reports of illegal activities in the salt industry, stopping and correcting illegal activities in the salt market, and investigating and dealing with illegal activities in the salt industry according to law.

3. The following properties and facilities of salt-making enterprises are protected by national laws, and no unit or individual may destroy, occupy, steal or plunder them:

(1) Land, beaches and salt mine resources used by salt-making enterprises according to law;

(two) sea salt field protection dike and tidal drainage ditch;

(3) Production tools, equipment and products of salt-making enterprises;

(4) The salt mines (including raw ore and associated ore) and brines that have been mined by salt-making enterprises have been incorporated into the seawater, brines at all levels, Artemia, fish and shrimp, microalgae and other Yantian organisms.

In order to strengthen the protection and development of salt resources, strengthen the management of salt industry, promote the development of salt production, ensure the normal distribution of salt, and meet the needs of socialist construction and people's life, these regulations are formulated. Article 2 The exploitation of salt resources, the production and management of salt industry in People's Republic of China (PRC) shall abide by these regulations.
