Brief introduction: Ningxia National Vocational and Technical College is a public full-time ordinary higher vocational college approved by the people's government of the autonomous region and announced by the Ministry of Education. It is also Wuzhong Vocational and Technical Education Center. The college has the qualification to issue full-time vocational and technical colleges, technical secondary school graduation certificates and middle and senior national vocational qualification certificates. Formerly known as Ningxia Public School for Nationalities, the College was founded in 1952 and renamed Wuzhong Normal School in 1956. In February, 20001year, Wuzhong Vocational and Technical College was established by the merger of former Wuzhong Normal School, Wuzhong Vocational and Technical Education Center and Wuzhong Staff Secondary School, which is the earliest higher vocational and technical college established in the whole region. In 2006, it was renamed Ningxia National Vocational and Technical College with the approval of the people's government of the autonomous region. It was filed and announced by the Ministry of Education in May 2007, and it has a history of 56 years. The new campus under construction covers an area of 926 mu. The first phase of the project is planned to build 5,000 people with a building area of107567m2. The project started construction in April 2008 and was delivered in September 2009. The South Campus (Jinji) covers an area of 60 mu, with a driving school and a driving test center.
