One is Mr. Kazuhito Yamaguchi of Japan. I consulted him on this issue in his MTP lecturer certification class. His answer is that the purpose of training is the ideal shore you want to go to at last, and the training goal is how to reach that ideal shore. Therefore, we will set phased training goals, that is, the goals of each outline in the training course, to finally achieve the goals we want to achieve during the teaching process or after the course.
The other is Dr. Zhou Tao from the 6D course. In his course of course development lecturer certification, he explained the difference between training purpose and training goal in a very simple sentence. He said that the purpose of training is the income of enterprises, and the training goal is the income of students. Enterprises can earn hundreds of millions a year, and the relationship with my students is just my job at hand. This explanation also impressed me deeply.
In fact, if you think about it carefully, the explanations of the two teachers are actually not in conflict, but the expressions are different. Personally, I understand that teacher Yamaguchi's explanation is more suitable for management courses, while Dr. Zhou's explanation may be more straightforward for professionals in curriculum design and development, so it is more suitable for the development and design of technical courses.
