The manufacturer of rock wool board external thermal insulation system should have professional personnel to provide on-site guidance during the construction process, and cooperate with the construction unit and on-site supervision to control the construction quality.
Material acceptance and storage
The materials entering the site must be qualified according to the requirements of specifications, quantity and quality, and kept by special personnel. It is forbidden to pile them in the open air. Curtain wall rock wool board should be piled up overhead and moistureproof.

Appropriate external protection
When the temperature exceeds a certain temperature, such as 200℃, thermal insulation protection must be done to keep the thickness and bulk density of rock wool board unchanged.
Heat preservation nail
When the temperature exceeds 200℃ for the thermal insulation of large-diameter and flat-wall equipment, we must keep in mind the advice of the rock wool board manufacturer: add thermal insulation nails, and the external protection (about 400mm apart) should be tightly attached.

When the thermal insulation object is placed at 90 degrees and has a certain height, the insulation layer of rock wool board must be provided with locating pins or support rings, and the spacing shall not be greater than 3m to prevent the thermal insulation data from slipping when there is vibration.

In order to achieve the minimum heat loss, the joints between rock wool board and felt must be closely butted. If there are multiple layers of insulation, cross joints need to be interwoven to avoid forming hot bridges, and cold bridges must be eliminated when keeping cold.
