In study and work, everyone will inevitably come into contact with papers. Thesis is a means to study some academic problems. Still at a loss for the paper? The following is my paper on the cultivation of humanistic quality of medical students, for reference only. Let's have a look.
Abstract: Humanistic quality is an important content of students' education in modern medical colleges. While paying attention to the study of specific teaching content and curriculum setting, we should also pay attention to the renewal of ideas, and put the concept of "people-oriented" into all aspects of humanistic quality education, such as content, methods and practice.
Keywords: people-oriented; Medical students; Humanistic quality education
Nowadays, the increasingly tense doctor-patient relationship has attracted the attention of all walks of life, which not only relates to the quality of medical care, but also has a far-reaching impact on social harmony and stability. There are many reasons for the contradiction between doctors and patients, but the lag of humanistic quality education for medical students is an important internal cause. Every year, a large number of medical students enter the medical profession. Therefore, to improve the comprehensive quality of medical staff, we must start with improving the humanistic quality of medical students. "People-oriented" is an important content of Socialism with Chinese characteristics's theoretical system, and it is also fully applicable to humanistic quality education.
First, the connotation of the "people-oriented" concept
To adhere to the people-oriented principle, we must adhere to the dominant position of people in social development and "emphasize the subjective requirements of' people'. People-oriented, focusing on affirming the value and significance of people. " [1] To truly implement "people-oriented", people must be placed in a dominant position in social development. Therefore, the development of all aspects of society must be based on human needs, and people must drive economic development and promote social progress. Fundamentally speaking, it is people-oriented, safeguarding human dignity and respecting and safeguarding human rights. We should pay attention to humanistic care and emphasize that everyone in all fields of society is equal, everyone enjoys rights and must fulfill corresponding obligations. Humanistic care highlights the respect for people and treats everything in life with humanistic thoughts. We should not only inherit excellent traditional culture, but also dare to break through and innovate. It is necessary not only to recognize the * * * between people, but also to accommodate the differences of different individuals and highlight the subjectivity of "people".
Second, humanistic quality education.
"People-oriented" is the basic content. Medicine takes "people" as the working object. So in essence, medicine is a field that pays attention to the development of humanities. Engel pointed out that medical staff must change their ideas and treat human health problems and various diseases correctly and rationally. He put forward a brand-new medical model, namely "biology-psychology-society", which is also in line with the thought of ancient doctors in China that "medicine is benevolence" and "doctors must know astronomy from the top, geography from the bottom and personnel from the middle". The humanistic value of medicine is embodied in the patient-centered belief and permeates the application of medical high technology, which puts forward new requirements for doctors' knowledge structure and comprehensive quality. As a qualified doctor, we should not only have professional knowledge and good professional quality, but also care about patients, pay attention to their physical health and psychological changes, and reduce the probability of conflicts between doctors and patients. Whether medical staff can practice the concept of "people-oriented" in practical work will be directly reflected in the process of serving patients. Humanistic care requires doctors to really think about patients, and "humanized medical care" is based on humanistic, scientific and philosophical knowledge. Humanistic quality education for medical students is not only ideological and moral education, but more importantly, through the accumulation of experience, it guides them to establish a correct career concept, constantly improve their personality, and improve their self-cultivation and comprehensive quality. However, due to various factors, traditional medical education has deviated from the goal of "humanized medical care" to a certain extent.
Kant believes that the so-called people-oriented, that is, all people-oriented, all for people, rather than taking people as an intermediary, or seeing people as a tool to accomplish something. Therefore, we must treat them equally in practical work, which is the basic requirement for practicing moral standards. The concept of "people-oriented" is similar in essence to the idea of "benevolent loves others" put forward by the founders of Confucianism, and both emphasize the importance of humanistic care. In medical work, the object that doctors directly serve is "people". Therefore, it is the unshirkable responsibility of medical staff to implement the concept of "people-oriented", and medical staff should always take "caring for patients' physical health and psychological quality" as their responsibility. [2] With the continuous development of the medical industry, patients put forward higher requirements for medical quality and medical service level. Therefore, it is necessary to constantly adjust the medical model, emphasize people's dominant position in medical services, and guide medical staff to pay attention to people's psychology. "Bio-psychological-social medical model" shows that people not only have biological characteristics, but also have social and psychological attributes, which is ignored by traditional medical models. Medical services must be people-oriented. The humanistic quality education of modern medical students should not only strengthen ideological and moral education, but also help them establish the concept of "people-oriented". In medical work, guide medical students to consciously shoulder the mission of saving lives, put themselves in patients' shoes and pay attention to patients' psychology.
Third, the methods of humanistic quality education should reflect
The reason why "people-oriented" leads to the low humanistic quality of medical students is not only the lack of teaching content, but also the problems of teaching links. The traditional teaching method of humanistic quality education is centered on teaching materials and teachers. Teachers instill knowledge into students, and students can only accept it completely. There are few opportunities to speak and ask questions, and there is little communication between teachers and students. Teachers should fundamentally change the teaching concept, truly "people-oriented", attach importance to students' learning needs and spiritual development, help them establish a correct outlook on life and values, and promote students' all-round development. "To establish a student-oriented talent concept, we must insist on teaching students in accordance with their aptitude." [3] From the standard of how much knowledge is instilled, to the standard of how much knowledge students have learned, and whether the learning process is pleasant or not, we should put more emphasis on students' dominant position in teaching activities and guide them to take the initiative to answer questions instead of waiting for teachers to ask questions. Teachers should create a strong learning atmosphere, encourage students to exchange and discuss, solve problems together, guide students when they encounter unsolvable problems, increase teacher-student interaction, and improve students' enthusiasm for learning. At the same time, "teachers should be clear about their own identity, give full play to their guiding role to students, do a good job of bridging cultural heritage and moral indoctrination, and guide students to establish correct professional outlook, outlook on life and values with their rigorous work attitude and excellent teacher style. [4] Teachers shoulder the bounden duty of educating people, and should help students to establish a sound personality with their own actions and be the guide for students to learn. According to students' learning needs and career development planning, we should create learning situations, arrange teaching interaction, improve teaching links and strengthen teaching management to ensure the improvement of teaching quality.
Fourthly, the practice of humanistic quality education should be reflected.
Humanistic quality education is a long process. Most medical students will go to work in medical institutions or hospitals after graduation. Therefore, hospitals are the first choice to carry out humanistic quality education, but this has not attracted the attention of schools and hospitals. Humanistic quality education in practice has a direct and significant impact on students. "Why are medical students getting worse and worse after entering the clinic?" This problem is related to paying too much attention to skill training and ignoring the practice of humanistic spirit. After medical students come to hospitals or medical institutions, experienced medical experts are eager to instill medical knowledge and operational skills into them, but they ignore the importance of spreading humanistic thoughts and academic spirit, and the construction of medical ethics is even more ineffective. Modern medical education believes that teachers should not only spread professional knowledge to students in teaching activities, but also pay attention to the cultivation of humanistic spirit so that students can consciously practice the concept of "people-oriented" after entering the hospital. Teachers use their own experience to guide students to establish a correct professional outlook and strengthen moral cultivation. Strengthening the humanistic quality education of medical students can not only enable them to master professional knowledge and medical skills, but also deeply understand the importance of humanistic spirit. In addition, "teachers should pay attention to the spirit of' people-oriented' in educational practice" [5]. Let students know the sacred mission of medical staff and pay more attention to the humanistic needs of patients in practical work. Teachers can use their own personal experience to strengthen students' sense of responsibility and guide students to practice the concept of "people-oriented" in medical treatment.
Practice is a transitional stage for medical students to go out of campus and formally enter the workplace, and it is also the best opportunity to practice humanistic ideas. With the continuous development of society, the forms of medical humanistic activities emerge one after another, such as free clinic, disease knowledge lecture, doctor-patient communication meeting, rehabilitation of the elderly, caring for vulnerable groups and so on. This can not only shorten the distance between doctors and patients, but also help to create a harmonious social atmosphere and maintain social stability. Medical students can feel the psychological changes and medical needs of patients, so as to better care for humanity and help patients recover quickly. Doctors shoulder the mission of saving lives and should put themselves in the patient's shoes. Maintaining good communication between doctors and patients not only helps to accurately grasp the patient's condition, but also reduces the probability of conflict between doctors and patients. Therefore, teachers should not only impart medical knowledge to students, but also improve students' interpersonal skills, guide students to establish a correct career concept, and pay attention to patients' psychological changes and medical feelings during their internship. With the continuous improvement of people's living standards, patients put forward higher requirements for medical quality and medical service level, so improving medical service level is helpful to alleviate the contradiction between doctors and patients. The expression, attitude and service of medical staff affect the psychological feelings of patients, and many contradictions between doctors and patients are caused by poor communication between doctors and patients. To sum up, improving the humanistic quality of medical students is the basic requirement for cultivating comprehensive medical talents. Educators should set up professional courses reasonably based on the concept of "people-oriented" and the development needs of the medical industry and the characteristics of medical students, so as to guide medical students to establish a correct career concept and improve their humanistic quality.
