Diagnostic criteria for pulmonary tuberculosis:

(1) Suspected case: anyone who meets one of the following items.

1, sputum negative pulmonary tuberculosis, chest X-ray examination suspected active pulmonary tuberculosis.

2. Negative sputum tuberculosis examination, abnormal shadow on chest X-ray examination. The patient has tuberculosis symptoms such as cough, spitting, low fever and night sweats. Or it is still not absorbed after 2-4 weeks of observation according to pneumonia treatment.

3. Children with strong positive reaction to tuberculin test (5 units, equivalent to 1: 2000) are accompanied by clinical symptoms of tuberculosis.

(2) Confirmed cases: those who meet one of the following items.

1, sputum tuberculosis positive (including smear or culture).

2. Negative sputum tuberculosis, chest X-ray examination with typical manifestations of active tuberculosis.

3. The pathological diagnosis of pulmonary lesions is tuberculosis.

4. Patients with suspected pulmonary tuberculosis can be excluded from other lung diseases through clinical X-ray follow-up.

5. Pleural effusion caused by other reasons has been ruled out clinically, which can be diagnosed as tuberculous pleurisy.
