Development history:
Baozuka revue Company, formerly known as Treasure Singing Team, was founded on 19 13 by Kazumi Kobayashi, former president of Hankyu Express Railway, with both training and performance. 19 14 was adapted into a women's opera troupe, and the opera performance began.
1939, training and performance were separated, and Baozhong Music School was established. 1940 changed its name to Baozhong revue Company, and now it has become a large performance group. The base of the troupe is Baozhong Grand Theatre in Baozhong City, Hyogo Prefecture. At the same time, in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, there is also the Tokyo Baozhong Theater, a subsidiary of Baozhong revue Company.
The members of Baozuka revue Company are unmarried women, and getting married means leaving the troupe. Male roles are also played by women "cross-dressing". Members are required to receive two years of rigorous training and education at Baozhong Music School. Students from the Conservatory of Music perform on stage after completing the course, and then they are assigned to various groups.
