Guhetang
The ancient lotus pond, one of the eight scenic spots in Baoding ancient city, is called "summer ripple" and is the pearl of ancient gardens in northern China. The pool water is divided into two pools, north and south, which are connected by two winding canals. Mountains, water, buildings, terraces, pavilions, halls, pavilions, and uneven terrain constitute the famous twelve scenic spots of Lianchi, which has won the reputation of "City Penglai".
Dacige
Also known as Great Compassion Pavilion, it is the tallest and largest ancient building in Baoding. Its founding date, according to the records of Baoding Prefecture, Song Chun Dacige was built by Zhang Rou, commander-in-chief of the East-West Road in Hebei Province of Mongolia, in ten years (1250). The present Dacige is a building rebuilt many times after it was burned down during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. On May 25th, 2006, Dacige, as an ancient building in Qing Dynasty, was approved by the State Council to be included in the sixth batch of national key cultural relics protection units. It is listed as one of the eight scenic spots in Baoding and is called "Lingxiao City Pavilion".
