New technology experience area: new equipment such as virtual book flipping system, all-media reading system, e-book lending machine, Buddha talk bar and so on are set up, which can let readers experience the application of various new technologies and resources in the library.

Lecture Hall: It can accommodate more than 200 people, hold lectures, reports, cultural performances and show digital movies.

Children's reading paradise: it is divided into toy library, small theater, parent-child reading area, picture library and multimedia experience area (first floor); Children's literature borrowing area, animation reading area and youth green online area (mezzanine on the first floor) provide children's literature borrowing, consulting and online services, and carry out long-term reading promotion activities such as bee story meeting, bee story contest, natural exploration tour, parent-child hands-on and theme activities of toy library.

Newspaper Department: It is divided into newspaper reading area, visually impaired reading area (first floor), back issue collection area, and Shengguangge reader activity area (first floor mezzanine). It provides services such as borrowing, consulting, searching and copying Chinese and foreign newspapers and periodicals, carries out newspaper publicity, reading guidance, development and utilization, and plans and organizes reading and public cultural activities with elderly readers, visually impaired readers and adult ordinary readers as the main service groups.

Reader's self-study area: provides a self-study place for readers.

Information Department: Relying on the rich collection of literature and massive network information resources, it integrates reference service and information development, and provides various information services for the party and government organs, scientific research institutions, enterprises and institutions and readers in Foshan by means of fixed-point consultation, roving consultation, telephone consultation, network consultation, decision-making consultation and information promotion, and is responsible for the overall management of information services in the whole library.

Seventh floor:

Except for the roof garden, the administrative office area is closed to readers. The roof garden has a wide view and overlooks the whole Foshan Park.
