Technical requirements of dense bus duct
The installation of dense bus duct can be directly connected from the transformer to the low-voltage distribution cabinet, or directly connected from the low-voltage cabinet to the distribution system as the distribution trunk. The bus duct has the advantages of small volume, compact structure, large transmission current and convenient maintenance. In short, it is the power supply and distribution equipment in industrial and mining, enterprises and high-rise buildings, which plays the role of transmission. Its voltage is 400 volts and its rated working current is 250 ~ 6300 amps.

In the process of installing dense busbar trunking, when connecting two busbars, the axes of the two busbars should be strictly kept on a central line, and the bolt holes of the two busbars should be completely aligned. When the bolts are installed and tightened, each bolt should be stressed evenly in sequence. This means that the insulating sleeve on the bolt is prevented from being damaged by shear force during installation.

During the whole field installation process, before the installation of each functional unit, the insulation resistance should be measured with a 500-foot shaking table. In general, the insulation resistance of a single dense bus functional unit can only be installed when it is more than 20Mft, and the insulation resistance should be measured every time each functional unit is installed. However, for the dense bus system with the line length exceeding 100m in the humid place in the south, the insulation resistance should not be less than 5m ohms before the no-load trial operation.

When installing the bus duct, firstly, the installer needs to master the installation steps of the intensive bus duct, have a good understanding of the relevant performance of the bus duct and have the relevant training foundation. When installing bus duct, good protective measures should be taken, and protective articles must be fully worn before installing dense bus duct.
