Why did the tragedy happen? The "China Civil Aviation Safety Information System" sponsored by the Civil Aviation Administration of China released the investigation report of this accident. The investigation team believes that the aircraft flies under icing conditions for a long time during the process of artificial precipitation enhancement, and the wings and propellers are seriously frozen. The crew failed to effectively control the icing risk of the aircraft, and then the aircraft stalled and entered the spiral, eventually falling to the ground and catching fire.
Event Review On March/March/March/October/Sunday, 2002, Beidahuang General Aviation Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Beidahuang Navigation) aircraft BE300/B-1 0GD carried out the task of artificial precipitation enhancement in Ji 'an City, Jiangxi Province. 14: 40, the plane took off from Ganzhou golden airport. 14: 46, the plane was transferred to nanchang district. 15: 08, the plane crashed in Shanghu Village, Tian Li Town, Ji 'an County, Ji 'an City, and caught fire after falling to the ground. Five people on board (including two pilots and three meteorologists) died on the spot and the plane burned down. The incident also caused damage to surrounding houses, and the ground 1 villagers were slightly injured.
After the incident, the East China Regional Administration of Civil Aviation set up an accident investigation team, and carried out on-site investigation, company personnel transcripts, witness interviews, video surveillance, meteorological information collection, maritime satellite data collection, flight data decoding and analysis, etc.
The cause of the accident is under investigation. In view of the accident investigation, the investigation team put forward four safety suggestions to Beidahuang Navigation Company from the aspects of the company's safety management ability, manual management, investigation of potential safety hazards and personnel training. And put forward safety suggestions for Jiangxi air traffic control branch to improve the special handling ability of controllers.
