Beijing International Standard Dance Academy, a private non-academic higher education institution, was founded in 1994. It is the first art college in China to teach modern dance and Latin dance. The school implements full-time teaching and offers international standard dance majors. Wuhan Sports Dance Art School is the first secondary specialized art college in China, which is affiliated to Wuhan Education Bureau. It has trained a number of champions of sports dance, such as Grace Wai Wong, Qi Yue, Zheng Cen and so on, and has taken the lead in sending undergraduates majoring in sports dance in China, and trained a number of graduate students. Shenzhen Junyi Art Training School is a professional art school approved by Shenzhen Education Bureau and registered by Shenzhen Civil Affairs Bureau. Its predecessor was Shenzhen Junyi Sports Dance Art School. Kunpeng International Sports Dance School, the first professional sports dance school in Linyi City, is the only sports dance training institution approved by the Sports Commission, mainly engaged in dance training featuring Latin dance, modern dance, ballet figure, street dance, jazz dance and other modern dances.
