The secrets of sailing certificate and career development.
It takes countless efforts and sweat to become a well-paid sailor. This paper will introduce the secrets of navigation certificate and career development from three aspects: auxiliary crew, third mate in deck department and mechanic in engine department.

Support class crew

Deck sailors and engineers are relatively easy to use, but only if you complete the training of familiarity and basic safety (15 days) and master the training of lifeboats and rescue boats (7 days). With these two certificates, you can participate in the training of sailors and mechanics (about 3 months).

Third mate of deck department

If you have the ambition to become a higher-level sailor, such as the third mate in the first examination of the deck department, you need to meet some higher requirements. College degree or above, or technical secondary school degree or above in navigation is required. At the same time, you need to pass a series of training and exams, including familiarity with basic safety, proficiency in using boats and rafts, advanced fire fighting, proficiency in using first aid, GMDSS, radar ARP and so on. Finally, you have to take three evaluations and theoretical exams.

Mechanical engineer of engine department

The situation in the cabin is similar. Besides mastering first aid, G-card and radar ARP, other training and examinations are also essential in the deck room. There are still assessments and theoretical exams waiting for you.
