1, Northwest Normal University

Northwest Normal University is a key university jointly established by Gansu Provincial People's Government and the Ministry of Education. It is also the national experimental base for collaborative innovation of teacher development, the construction base of teachers' morality and style of the Ministry of Education, and the national language and writing promotion base.

As of March 2022, the school headquarters covers an area of 834 mu, the new campus covers an area of 54 1.8 mu, and the ecological training base covers an area of 2,272.5 mu, with a total planned construction area of 997,900 square meters. There are 26 secondary colleges (65 departments and 3 teaching departments), 3 Confucius Institutes, 1 national and local joint engineering laboratories, 1 national research institutes and 1 key laboratories of the Ministry of Education.

2. Lanzhou Jiaotong University

Lanzhou Jiaotong University, located in Lanzhou City, Gansu Province, is a teaching and research university focusing on engineering, science, economics, management, literature and art. It is a university jointly established by China Railway Corporation, Gansu Provincial People's Government, National Railway Administration and Gansu Provincial People's Government.

As of May, 20021,the school has two campuses (headquarters and railway campus). As of April 2022, the school covers an area of 1.564 mu with a building area of 709,700 square meters. 22 directly affiliated colleges (departments), National University Science Park 1; There are 70 undergraduate enrollment majors and directions; 6 national specialty construction sites, 1 national comprehensive reform pilot specialty.

3. Lanzhou University of Technology

Lanzhou University of Technology, located in Lanzhou, the capital of Gansu Province, is a full-time ordinary institution of higher learning. It is a high-level university in Gansu Province, which is jointly established by the Gansu Provincial People's Government, the Ministry of Education and the National Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense. It was selected into the basic capacity building project of colleges and universities in the central and western regions and the "National Innovative Experimental Plan for College Students".

The school has two campuses, Langongping and Pengjiaping, covering an area of 2,430 mu, with a building area of 1, 2 1, 000 square meters.
