The south campus of Yinzhou Experimental Primary School covers an area of 40 mu, with 38 classes and 1.900 students. It is the first batch of civilized schools and provincial rural demonstration primary schools in Zhejiang Province. The school was founded in 19 13, and was named Yinshan Jiangshan Central Primary School by the county people's government in 1950.

Later, 1985 was designated as Yinxian Experimental Primary School, and 1989 District Central Primary School was changed to Jiangshan Town Central Primary School. In 2002, Yinxian was renamed as Yinzhou Experimental Primary School and Jiangshan Town Central Primary School in Yinzhou District.
