There are not two secondary colleges. The secondary college is the teaching college below the school. For example, a university has a school of economics and management and a school of chemistry and chemical engineering. This is a secondary college, and each college has departments and majors. There are several secondary colleges in general universities.
Qinhuangdao Navigation College is a secondary college of Hebei Women's Vocational and Technical College, so it is also a university.
Qinhuangdao Navigation College was approved by the Provincial Department of Education and became a secondary college of Hebei Women's Vocational and Technical College on 20 14. The College is located in Beidaihe Waterfront, Qinhuangdao, which is known as the "Summer Capital" of China. It is the only full-time maritime college in Hebei Province. Mainly engaged in navigation and port education and crew training.
Authorized by People's Republic of China (PRC) and China Maritime Bureau, Qinhuangdao Maritime College has carried out 33 maritime professional trainings such as captain, chief engineer and yacht operator, and is the only training base for crew examination and evaluation in Hebei Province. Hebei Women's Vocational and Technical College is affiliated to Hebei Women's Federation. Founded in June 1948, formerly known as Jinan Female Cadre School in Weixian County, Xingtai, Hebei Province.
The college is a public full-time general higher vocational college approved by the provincial government and filed by the Ministry of Education. It is also a model higher vocational college built in Hebei Province and one of the five public women's colleges independently set up in China.
