The history of running the Department of Railway Architecture can be traced back to the beginning of the college. Its industrial and civil architecture specialty and water supply and drainage specialty are set in 1952 and 1964 respectively, which is one of the earliest specialties in the college. Now it has a comprehensive training base for locomotives and rolling stock, a vehicle braking training room, a vehicle electrical training room, a PLC training room, a single-chip computer training room, an electrician and electronics training room, an electrified catenary maintenance training base and a comprehensive training room for secretarial work, which can meet the teaching and practical needs of various professional courses offered by this department. There are 34 teachers in the Department of Railway Electromechanical Engineering, including 9 with senior titles and 8 with intermediate titles/kloc-0.
