The national second-level psychological counselor is a professional qualification certification introduced from Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security.
The professional qualification appraisal of psychological counselors is divided into three grades:
Psychological counselor (national vocational qualification level 3), psychological counselor (national vocational qualification level 2) and senior psychological counselor (national vocational qualification level 1).
Evaluation method:
The examination is divided into three parts: basic knowledge, skill operation and comprehensive evaluation. Basic knowledge and skill operation are all national unified written closed-book exams, with a percentage system and a pass of 60 points. The comprehensive evaluation is conducted in the form of thesis writing and defense. Candidates are required to submit two articles, including 1 case report (required) and 1 personal growth analysis report or research report (choose one). Obtaining the certificate through three parts.
Application conditions:
Secondary psychological counselor (with one of the following conditions):
(1) Having a doctorate in psychology, pedagogy or medicine;
(2) Those who have a master's degree in psychology, education and medicine, have passed the second-level formal training of psychological counselors, reached the required standard hours, and obtained a certificate of completion;
(3) Those who have obtained the third-level professional qualification certificate of psychological counselors, have been engaged in psychological counseling for three consecutive years, have passed the second-level formal training of psychological counselors and reached the required standard hours, and have obtained the certificate of completion;
(4) Having intermediate or above professional technical qualifications in psychology, education and medicine, and having received secondary formal training from psychological counselors? Reach the required standard class hours, and obtain the certificate of completion, and engage in psychological counseling for three consecutive years.
