Weifang Technician College is a full-time higher vocational and technical college approved by the Ministry of Labor and the Shandong Provincial Government. Its predecessor was Weifang Senior Technical School. In 2004, it was established by the first technical school, the second technical school, the service technical school and Zhucheng technical school of the former Weifang Labor Bureau. Its school history can be traced back to 1958. In June 2009, it was transformed into Weifang Technician College with the approval of Shandong Provincial People's Government. It mainly trains technicians, senior technicians, senior workers and intermediate workers who are in short supply in society, and undertakes the task of high-skill training for enterprise employees.
