Xi 'an Electric Power College is a full-time ordinary college engaged in personnel training of power system and related industries and staff training inside and outside the system. Its predecessor was the original Xi 'an Electric Power School, which was founded in 1953 and upgraded to Xi 'an Electric Power College in 1994. It belongs to Shaanxi Electric Power Company of State Grid Corporation and is also the staff training center of Northwest Electric Power System. The school has the characteristics of multi-level, multi-specification and multi-function. Since its establishment more than 50 years ago, * * * has trained more than 50,000 professionals of all kinds, and most of the graduates have become the backbone of Northwest Electric Power Industry, which is known as "Huangpu of Northwest Electric Power". The school covers an area of 227 mu, with a building area of199,000 square meters.
