First, patient education.
Promoting children's interest and generating children's interest in anything are not innate, but acquired. As a parent, I attach great importance to the cultivation of children's various abilities. Because in my generation, most parents have given birth to five or six children. They can only take care of our food and clothing, and have no time to teach us to study, let alone cultivate children's interest. Therefore, I want to make up this lesson for my son. According to the child's personality characteristics and hobbies, let him participate in some beneficial extracurricular activities. I remember when my son was in the first grade, he had a lot of spare time, and his homework could basically be completed in class. After school, I let him take part in the martial arts class organized by the county sports commission, which played a role in strengthening the body, enhancing immunity and exercising. But learning martial arts is bitter. You have to train for two hours after school every afternoon, and you can't go home until dark. I remember one time, I came to the Sports Commission early to watch them practice. The teacher asked the students to stand upside down and count to "one hundred times" before coming down. My son felt very relaxed when he stood on his head. When he counted to "100", he completed the task assigned by the teacher. However, the teacher asked the students to count to "100" when they stood upside down. At first, when my son counted to "80", he couldn't count it. He cried and asked, "Teacher, can I come down?" The teacher said, "No". The son went on to say, "I can't hold on." The teacher said, "The teacher believes in you, and you can stick to it." The son finally counted to "one hundred" and smiled on his face. From this incident, I was greatly inspired. Children are very flexible, as long as parents pay attention to training. Therefore, in the education of my son in the future, I always say: "Nothing is difficult in the world, as long as you put your mind to it", and you must have the spirit of hard work. Under my guidance, my son never missed the training of martial arts class and was able to persist in completing the actions assigned by the teacher. After more than a year's training, his physical fitness is better than other companions, which is the first starting point for my interest in children.
Second, correct guidance.
Choosing a child's valuable interest As the child grows older, I ask my son for advice and let him choose what he is interested in. Because "interest is the best teacher", if a person is interested in something, his initiative will be fully exerted. This is reflected in my son. My son joined the calligraphy interest group and was very interested in writing Chinese calligraphy. However, after writing for a while, he felt boring and his handwriting didn't improve. He wants to play the exit drum. I told him the story of Wang Xizhi, an ancient calligrapher, and often told him: "The sword front comes from sharpening, and the plum blossom fragrance comes from bitter cold." Strictly asked him to practice with him in his spare time, and finally defeated himself to the letter. Every year during the Spring Festival and his tenth birthday, he will personally write couplets. This was a very difficult thing at his age, which made him feel the joy of success and strengthened his interest in calligraphy. Therefore, parents should not only give their children a pen and a book, but also master a set of scientific and effective methods to correctly guide their children to develop their potential.
Third, build confidence.
Help children build interest and persist. Children's interests show some instability. In daily life, I often pay attention to my son's interests, which will change with time. For example, the martial arts he had studied before, he didn't practice it often when he had time, but let it "stand aside". I use morning exercise time to let him run first, and then review what he has learned in martial arts class to exercise his hands and feet. In this way, he won the place in the school sports meeting in recent years, which is inseparable from his participation in the training of martial arts interest classes. In addition, children's energy is the same as steam. If it can be controlled, it will become the power of ships and trains. If it is left unchecked, it will be harmful. I remember a time when I was obsessed with watching TV dramas and didn't take the time to urge him. He also stopped practicing calligraphy every day, finishing the accumulation of several days a day, and perfunctory. I found that the "sign" was wrong, so I stopped reading it and urged him in time. And give guidance, so as to make progress. Because after all, children are young, not conscious, not to mention persistent, so as parents, they can't be on a whim, and sometimes they are in charge. This will be counterproductive and it is not convenient to raise children. But don't treat children too much. Seeing children's progress bit by bit, we should encourage and carry forward in time to enhance children's self-confidence. When a child learns calligraphy, I will keep his works and often show them to him, compare myself, experience progress and build confidence. It also gives children a chance to show themselves on appropriate occasions and exercise their abilities.
