The school has now developed into an interdisciplinary foreign language university with foreign languages and literature as the main body and the coordinated development of literature, education, economy, management, law and art. It has a multi-form and multi-level complete school-running system, including doctoral education, master's education, undergraduate education, international student education, continuing education and intensive training.

The school also has a foreign language and literature Post-Doctoral Research Center, and has established academic journals such as Foreign Language and English Studies. The school has a multi-level system of full-time undergraduate, master and doctoral education, 22 teaching units, 1 affiliated middle school and 1 affiliated primary school. The school offers 5 1 undergraduate majors, including 24 foreign languages majors (22 foreign languages), and recruits undergraduates for 30 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government.
