Legal basis: general rules of judicial expertise procedure
Article 3 Judicial authentication institutions and judicial authenticators engaged in judicial authentication activities shall abide by laws, regulations and rules, professional ethics and discipline, respect science and technical operation norms.
Article 4 The expert responsibility system shall be implemented in judicial authentication. The judicial appraiser shall conduct the appraisal independently, objectively and impartially according to law, and be responsible for the appraisal opinions made by himself.
Article 5 Judicial authentication institutions and judicial authenticators shall keep state secrets and business secrets they know in their practice activities, and shall not disclose personal privacy. Without the consent of the entrusting party, it is not allowed to provide other people or organizations with information related to the appraisal matters, except as otherwise provided by laws and regulations.
Article 6 Judicial authentication institutions and judicial authenticators shall, in their practice activities, withdraw in accordance with the relevant procedural law and the provisions of these General Rules.
