A computer, also called a microcomputer, consists of software and hardware. What we can see with the naked eye is hardware. For beginners, you need to know the basic composition of the computer first.
The desktop is mainly composed of the main box, monitor, mouse and keyboard, and external audio equipment, which can be clearly seen in the above picture. The main box also includes power supply, motherboard, CPU, memory stick, graphics card, hard disk, optical drive (optional), network card, sound card (generally integrated on the motherboard), heat sink and other components.
Novices can open the computer case, identify all the parts one by one, and deepen their impressions. In addition, you can also go online to learn about the functions, specifications and parameters of each component.
Second, the computer wiring
The wiring mentioned here refers to the external wiring of the main chassis and the internal wiring of the chassis, which does not need beginners to master. External wiring is the most basic, otherwise I am worried that many people will not know how to wire once the plug is unplugged.
If the computer can be used normally and can access the Internet, the following wires need to be properly connected:
1, connection between monitor and host
Display data lines are mainly divided into VGA, DVI, HDMI and other interfaces. No matter which interface it is, one end plugs into the monitor and the other end plugs into the interface behind the host. The computer interface has an error-proof mechanism, and the wrong interface cannot be plugged in.
2. Host power cord and monitor power cord
The sockets of the host power cord and the monitor power cord are the same, so it is not a big problem to use them alternately. Just plug one end into the socket and the other end into the socket of the host and monitor.
3. Network cable
Network cable, we need a two-way network cable with a crystal head. If there is a router, connect one end to the router and the other end to the network cable socket of the host. If there is no router, use a modem (cat) to dial up the Internet, and the other end is connected to the network cable socket of the host.
