In order to promote teachers' professional development, improve the quality of education and teaching, and promote Qiantang District of Hangzhou to be "famous teachers at the provincial level", "excellent teachers at the municipal level" and "excellent teachers at the district level", in mid-August, Qiantang District Teachers' College and Hangzhou Discovery Education Research Institute launched a one-week summer global teacher training. More than 340 young teachers, backbone teachers and teaching and research team leaders from junior high schools, primary schools and kindergartens in Qiantang District participated in the training.

As this training covers teachers of multiple disciplines and classes, the organizer conducted several rounds of research in the early stage to ensure the accuracy of curriculum design and help teachers solve practical problems in teaching and scientific research. For the training of the leader of the teaching and research group, several classes were arranged for the whole course preparation, and some teaching units were selected for design and group discussion. For example, Zhao Yu, a researcher at Qiantang Normal University, led the teaching and research team leader to learn the theory of large-unit teaching, and fully demonstrated the example of large-unit teaching design throughout the whole teaching process with real situations from academic theory and interpretation of new curriculum standards, which provided innovative teaching practice ideas for teachers. Therefore, the cultivation of backbone teachers focuses on small-scale research to help teachers master the laws of educational research and lay the foundation for their independent and standardized educational research in the later period. Experts' lectures are easy to understand, integrating theory with practice and systematic. For example, Liu Lili, a doctoral supervisor of East China Normal University, shared the significance and characteristics of small project design and project-based learning, which not only gave teachers a more comprehensive understanding of small project research, but also made them enthusiastic about participating in the research. A teacher wrote in the summary: "The expert's words helped me overcome the separation of knowledge learning and thinking, and a complete educational world was built in my mind."

The training class for young teachers has made a comprehensive interpretation of the new curriculum standard. Through expert lectures and group discussions, young teachers are led to re-examine and improve their classroom practice with the core literacy consciousness as the center under the background of the new curriculum standard, and their teaching reform ability based on the new curriculum standard has been improved. Junior high school mathematics expert lecture "Promoting accurate overall construction by fine factor decomposition" instructs teachers to "seriously implement each factor from the perspective of unit". Researcher Shan of Qiantang Normal University organized students to interpret the text, set teaching objectives in combination with specific units in the textbook, and achieved important results through group discussion and exchange. Under the background of "double reduction", experts also gave guidance on the implementation and evaluation design of unit assignments that teachers care about. From putting forward the general principles of homework design to showing specific lessons, the close combination of theory and practice makes teachers really understand that "improving classroom efficiency and homework design is a system".

The one-week training has also become a platform for the exchange of educational experience.
